Budget Preparation was discussed. Housing by private developers on Wick Oval would be approved by OBOR. The service area in the Terrace Room was planning on being remodeled. A portion of Spring Street was officially vacated by the City of Youngstown. The President was reviewing the policy on closing the school due to inclement weather. Drs. Bowers (English) and Varma (Home Economics) were recipients of the Distinguished Professorship award. The third Skeggs Lecturer was to be Elizabeth Dole.
