dc.description.abstract | A draft of the Re-accreditation Self-Study Report was circulated to the deans for review. Those who had not taken the English Placement Test or registered for the prescribed remedial courses were subject to disenrollment. A consortial Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences was under discussion. Students seeking to register for more than 26 quarter hours would be prohibited from doing so without special dispensation from the Provost. Limited-Service faculty contracts will be reformatted to permit completion on word-processors. Classes with enrollments of fewer than 15 students should be reviewed. The advantages and disadvantages of spring registration for entering freshmen were discussed. Provost Gillis asked for suggestions for an Honors Convocation speaker. President Humphrey and Provost Gillis traveled to Harrisburg to pursue tuition reciprocity with Pennsylvania. The Budget Committee would review monthly vacant campus positions.Provost Gillis reported the items he will present to the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees.
