dc.description.abstract | The Provost reported a positive review of the Under-prepared Student Program. A recommendation from the Early Registration and Advisement Task Force was forthcoming. Coordination problems were reported for the Degree Audit Progress. A Readmission Fee of $10 was suggested for those being out for four quarters. Mapley gave a report on the ACT Field Testing. Only three PE activity courses would be counted towards a Baccalaureate Degree, PE majors and minors were excluded from this requirement. The legislation allowing high school students to take college courses for high school credit was discussed. There will be no Board of Trustees meeting in March. Handout on the Continuing Education programs was distributed. The Provost reported he was $150,000 over his target. Dr. Hotchkiss would assume a monitoring function for the Fine and Performing Arts College until a new Dean is found for the school. A progress report was given on coaches and teaching. Clarification was needed in regards to faculty use of university equipment. | en_US |
