dc.description.abstract | The HPE activity credit from last meeting was added in a footnote of the Bulletin. Provost Gillis was to serve as coordinator for the Degree Audit program. The preliminary proposal for the Ed.D. in Educational Administration program was circulated to the Provosts of Northeastern Ohio. OBOR requested name changes for Metallurgical Engineering to Materials Engineering and Hotel/Motel Management to Hospitality Management. A letter was sent to all prospective students telling them that, if they had been selected for remedial English/Reading, they had to remain in the course or jeopardize future registration. OSU invited YSU faculty to attend their Distinguished Lecture series. Provost was to ask for recommendations on Admin. Board and Committee appointments after faculty recommendations were made by the Senate Executive Committee. A heated discussion was generated by the announcement that the proposal for Early Admission and Registration goes to the Budget Committee. The Readmission Fee was going forward. ACT field test could not be completed in one class period. The Northeastern Ohio Provosts discussed the NASA Lewis proposal for an aerospace research center. | en_US |
