dc.description.abstract | All members of the YSU community were encouraged to submit ideas on the Strategic Plan Reviews to the Senate Academic Affairs Committee. The YSU ROTC program was to be phased out by the summer of 1991. The possibility of cross-enrollment with either Kent or Akron was explored, the Akron situation more extensively. The OBOR staff indicated to Dr. Gillis that the Ohio Board of Regents could write a paragraph on articulation which would be used in all state bulletins. Dean Ruggles requested that a deadline date for authorization to recruit faculty positions be set. CUFS began on January 1. An ad was posted for two future issues of the "Chronicle" seeking applications for three deans' positions in anticipation of a possible reorganization of CAST. Dr. Gillis distributed a record of limited service expenditures to date from Accounting. Summer with projections for scheduling forthcoming. The YSU administration and the OEA have made a concerted effort to resolve pending grievances. A general discussion took place regarding late registration. Dr. McBriarty was to set up a tour of the Lyden, Weller and Kilcawley living spaces for all interested parties. Dr. Loch reported that the Boardman reception was very successful. | en_US |
