dc.description.abstract | The ERIP planning has begun. Work for a protocol for conferencing summer courses was being made. Paul Kobulnicky asked the Deans to consider meeting with the Dean of Arts and Sciences candidates over lunch. Jean Engle requested help from the Deans in obtaining new photos of students to be used on the website. The schedule for applying for Research Professorships was announced. A motion was passed on the proposed Policy for Development and Requests for Federal or State Set-aside Funding establishing a review process at the Dean and Provost level. Classroom were being upgraded with a goal to have 16 multi-media classroom upgrades by May 2006. There was a desire to have the Honors Convocation modified. Dr. Anderson distributed and reviewed the results of the student survey. Dr. Herbert requested the Deans to email him the names to serve on a General Education oversight committee. Dr. Herbert requested nominations for a group of people to provide advice on the development of a protocol for program review. Dr. Herbert reported on his preliminary review of the tenure files. | en_US |
