Abstract

Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini took the audience through his life journey from Youngstown to New York to California and back in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on Tuesday as part of the Centofanti Symposium. The YSU Foundation offers Puerto Rican cousins, Yesmar Marrero Rivera and Yesarily Sanchez Rivera, a shot at success. YSU hosts LGBTQ safe zone training. Restaurants around campus are offering pumpkin spice products with fall season in full bloom. Health care organizations aim to prevent mental health and substance abuse issues at YSU. YSU women's basketball continues into its second week of play and will host Eastern Michigan University. After taking on one of its toughest challenges of the season, the YSU men's basketball team is hitting the road for another tough test at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette with the Ragin' Cajuns. Coach Bo Pelini said the football team is playing for pride from this point forward.
