dc.description.abstract YSU’S Center for Urban Studies will launch its part of a regional study of poverty level residents in Northeast Ohio at a press conference on August 13 in Kilcawley Center. The study is being conducted in partnership with the University of Akron, Cleveland State, and Kent State Universities with a $150,000 grant from the Ohio Board of Regents. William K. Thomas, senior judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, will make two appearances in Youngstown as part of the U.S. Constitution bicentennial commemoration. After making remarks at the opening of the fall term of the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas, Judge Thomas will be the guest of honor at a luncheon at YSU. en_US
