eUpdate (YSUpdate)

The YSUpdate, predecessor to the eUpdate, was first published in paper form in 1980. The title was changed to eUpdate in June 2010. Paper copies of the eUpdate(YSUpdate) are located in the unprocessed RG 40 Office of Marketing and Communications Records. The digital eUpdate(YSUpdate) collection is located in the Office of Marketing and Communications sub-community in the University Archives community in Digital.Maag. In 2007, the first items in this series were scanned and uploaded into Digital.Maag beginning with the March 2005 issue. Since then, the most recent issues of the eUpdate have been periodically uploaded to Digtial.Maag when they are received in digital form via campus wide email announcements. Paper versions are received via campus mail and are added to the Marketing and Communications Records. In general, the archives staff uses this collection to fulfill research requests related to the history of the university.
