Abstract:

Maj. Gen. Donald R. Infante, a 1958 graduate of YSU and its ROTC program, will give the address at Summer Commencement on August 23 in Beeghly Center. During the ceremonies, Gen. Infante will receive an honorary Doctor of Military Science degree. He is the commander at Fort Bliss, Texas and the Army’s Air Defense Artillery School. A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was called for August 8 to consider a tentative agreement concluded between YSU and YSU-OEA, the faculty union.
