Geography Department makes video tapes; University adopts a tornado alert and response plan; and YSU's Composers Ensemble performs as part of an exchange program.

Abstract

The Geography Department at YSU is making video tapes of a program, "Severe Weather Awareness," available to civic, industrial and business groups throughout the area. YSU has adopted a tornado alert and response plan, designed to instruct students, faculty and staff on how to prevent injury should tornado conditions develop while they are on campus. The YSU Composers Ensemble will be visiting the campuses of New York University and the University of Akron to perform guest recitals as part of an exchange program between the three schools.
