Forty-nine students were named in the 1979-80 college student edition of Who’s Who. A guest speaker was slated to discuss the John F. Kennedy assassination. A new art exhibit in Kilcawley depicted industrial images. YSU was asked to relieve strain on county social services. Dean Edmund Salata informed the Ohio Senate that day care was not a priority at YSU. A play by a faculty member was to receive a public reading.
