dc.description.abstract |
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the forced vibration problem of a cylindrically orthotropic circular plate . subjected to in-plane stability forces. The equations of motion with the natural and forced boundary conditions are obtained using the minimum potential energy theorem. The orthogonality conditions of the eigen functions are determine for symmetric and asymmetric motions. The critical buckling loads are determined using the dynamic stability criteria with the aid of the electronic comuter, for the special case of symmetrical loading. The forced vibration solution is obtained in Duhamel' s integral
form using the concept of normal mode theory. |
