Springfest '87 to take place April 30-May 2; Dr. George Sutton will deliver the address at the University's annual Honor's Convocation; and 500 students competed in the 12th annual History Day April 11

Abstract

Springfest '87, a campus celebration of the season and sponsored by YSU Student Government's Major Events, will take place April 30-May 2. It will host a bunch of activities including amusement rides, carnival booths, concession stands, fun contests and musical entertainment. Dr. George E. Sutton, dean of YSU's William Rayen School of Engineering, has been chosen to deliver the address at the University's annual Honor's Convocation, May 12. Nearly 500 students from junior and senior high schools in a five-county area competed in the 12 annual History Day April 11 at YSU in one of the largest such events in Ohio.
