dc.description.abstract Renowned Latino educator and speaker, Michael Benitez, is the featured speaker in an interactive seminar for Hispanic Heritage Month. Student Government Association hosts "Y" voting event. Due to COVID-19, YSU shuttle buses are not in service this semester. The freshmen experience differs during COVID-19. Abdu Arslanyilmaz, professor of computer science, receives NSF grant for an in-depth study on how computer programming curriculum could be improved for students with autism spectrum disorder. Mill Creek Metroparks offers alternative activities during COVID-19. Students run their own business while juggling busy schedules and heavy course loads. Live concerts are making a comeback in Youngstown with the official reopening of the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheater. Dana School of Music hosts virtual concerts. Jambar interviews student trustee, Galena Lupochovsky. The YSU baseball team will host the 2020 Youngstown State Baseball Alumni Golf Outing on September 26.
