dc.description.abstract	Democratic presidential nominee, John Kerry, speaks to the Vally on the U.S. economy and proposes tax breaks from tuition-paying families. University releases a list of recommendations to improve hiring processes. Polls suggest John Kerry as the winner of the first presidential debate. Youngstown State University and Slippery Rock University develop a reciprocity agreement. Amanda Beagle uses her Miss Ohio title to promote the arts. The Muslim Student Association was recently granted a private room for every day use where Muslim students can perform their pray known as salat in Arabic. Vice-President Libertarian candidate, Richard Campagna, visits campus. Painter/actress Jane Seymour chose the Butler to be the first museum in the United States to exhibit her paintings.	en_US
