Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the YSU Board of Trustees meeting from December 09, 2022 and the Committee Minutes from December 08, 2022. This was a regular meeting. The YSU Board of Trustees took action on the construction of a new student center and heard a positive report from its external auditors during the meetings on campus. It was Jim Tressel's final board meeting as president. Tressel is leaving the position on January 31. The board approved a contract for his interim replacement, Helen K. Lafferty. Reports were given by the following committees: Intercollegiate Athletics Committee, Academic Excellence and Student Success Committee, Finance and Facilities Committee, University Affairs Committee, Institutional Engagement, Investment Committee, and Governance Committee. An approved resolution Recognizing the Significant and Distinctive Contribution by President James P. and First Lady Ellen J. Tressel was given.
