dc.description.abstract With a centennial theme of "A proud past and a promising future, " YSU President David Sweet welcomed back faculty, students and staff to the start of the fall semester during his state of the university address. Pete's Place prepares for fall opening. Stephen Foley, a junior Political Science and Psychology major, was recently appointed by Governor Ted Strickland as a student trustee to the YSU Board of Trustees. Students saddle up for Wild West Welcome Week. Christman Dinning received renovations over summer. An International dinner welcomes exchange students. Jambar interviews Andrew Emig on his study abroad trip to Argentina. Penguin football players to look out for include : Tom Zetts, Louis Irrizary, Da'Michael Horne, and Brian Mellot. en_US
