dc.description.abstract Doreen McCleery was chosen as the May Queen of 1961. Dr. Kelsie Harder (English) was named the new president of the Ohio Folklore Society. A new student union building moved closer to realization, depending on the success of acquiring property adjacent to campus. Circle K received an award from the Freedom’s Foundation of Valley Forge for its work on behalf of good citizenship. Spring training begins for the YU football team. Spring 1961 issue of Collegiate Digest was included. en_US
