dc.description.abstract Winter Weekend was saved when vendor contracts were finally signed. The elevator in the Kilcawley Men’s Dormitory broke down to due horseplay and vandalism. Dr. Charles V. Hamilton, Columbia University urban studies professor, was slated to be a speaker during Black History Week. The director of the University Physical Plant director discussed nuclear fallout protection on campus. A crime survey revealed that evening students desired extra protection, while the YSU police began ticketing cars parked illegally on Bryson Street. The campus “rock” is highlighted, as was The Catacombs, a student lounge sponsored by the Cooperative Campus Ministry. en_US
