dc.description.abstract Due to an absence of two members of the Youngstown Planning Commission, the closing of Elm Street was sent to City Council for a vote without any recommendation. Embattled Chuck Hettler was defeated for election as the new chairman of Student Council. A 16-year old girl was abducted new the Lincoln Towers Dormitory, then later released. Sanford Gottlieb, the national director of SANE, led a noontime rally on campus. The outgoing president of Student Government, Dan Crishon, criticized the attitude of the University Administration. Spring Weekend festivities were highlighted. en_US
