dc.description.abstract R. Buckminster Fuller, the inventor of the geodesic dome, was the third Skeggs Lecturer. Vance Packard, liberal and author, was scheduled to speak in March 1968. A six-member board was formed to accredit a graduate school.. The greenhouse on the top floor of the Ward Beecher Science Hall, was highlighted, as was Winter Weekend 1968 events. An extended interview was conducted with history professor and peace activist Chaplain Morrison. en_US
