Abstract:

The North Central Association’s accreditation report of YSU is made public. The Jambar was named an “All-American” newspaper by the Associated Collegiate Press Critical Services. Pete Penguin returned to YSU after summering at the Pittsburgh Zoo. 70 new professors were hired. The campus Greek community expanded with the addition of the Sigma Pi fraternity. The Gates of Eden Coffee House was profiled.-
