Abstract:

The musical Penguins returned from a successful USO tour of Caribbean military installations. A meeting on the military draft (Selective Service) was called. Dr. S.I. Roberts (History Department) commented on the recent St. John’s University faculty strike, saying that such a thing would be “inconceivable” at YU. Construction began on the Ward Beecher science building extension. Niagara University’s basketball team trounced YU 87-67.
