dc.description.abstract Enrollment surpassed the 12,000 student mark. The 1966 Homecoming celebration was declared a success, despite bad weather and a loss to Morehead State College. The event was remembered in a photo spread. Dr. Bernard Yozwiak was named chair of the Mathematics Department. YU Lineman Jake Ferro was profiled Ilona Johnson’s journey to becoming Homecoming Queen was presented. Rev. Burton Cantrell, YU’s Protestant Chaplain, announces plans for a “coffee shop” at the first meeting of the United Campus Christian Fellowship. en_US
