dc.description.abstract Indefinite suspensions were levied Wednesday afternoon against 11 members of the Phi Gamma fraternity, and the charter of the organization was revoked for an indefinite period because of a "hazing" scandal. Professor Frank Ellis is Acting Dean of the William Rayen School of Engineering. Student and Faculty honor Dean Louis Deesz at a memorial service. Students of the engineering school have collected a memorial fund to purchase a portrait of the late Dean Deesz. Alex Chavich, 17 year old piano student at the Dana Music School of YoCo, was the fortunate winner of $1,000 in U.S. savings bonds. May Day is planned to be a three day festival with Miss Phyllis Galose reigning as Queen. Miss Yvonne Person has been chosen as the May Jambar Sweetheart. Jambar takes second in statewide contest of the Ohio College Newspaper Convention. en_US
