Abstract:
YU was one of four local organizations named to share in the $2 million estate of the late Alonzo G. Sharp, the founder of A.G. Sharp Lumber Company. The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra was booked to play the 22nd Annual Snowflake Frolic. The Horizon, YU’s literary magazine, announced changes to it format. The YU Chaplains announced plans for their annual trip to New York City and the United Nations. The YU basketball team won over Alderson-Broaddus 69-51.
