dc.description.abstract Students expressed dismay over new policies established by the Bookstore. Student Council appointment rules came under scrutiny. University full-time faculty expanded by sixty-six to 441. Student Government President Dan Grishon made known his goals, while YSU’s first draft resister, David Beacom, revealed that he held a job with the US Postal Service until his Federal indictment for draft evasion was issued. The metallurgical engineering curriculum at YSU was granted full accreditation. The Young Americans for Freedom announced its upcoming “blue button” campaign in opposition to “radical extremists.” Local burlesque entertainer Ronnie Bell distributed autographed photos in front of Kilcawley Center, and a day in the life of a freshman was presented. en_US
