dc.description.abstract Changes were announced in the way Winter Quarter registration was conducted. The Young Americans for Freedom (YEF) set out to sell the positive side of America. Three faculty members were elected to local government boards. The Gates of Eden coffee house announced a talk by a lawyer from the ACLU. President Pugsley announced a new academic calendar in the autumn of 1970. The brothers of Phi Alpha Omega participated in a charity walk for disabled children.
