dc.description.abstract Winter Weekend began, with the musical group “The Rascals” headlining. Composer John Cage was slated to make his campus debut. Two students started a Charles Manson Defense fund, believing that the accused murderer wasn’t being fairly treated by the courts. Military conscription was discussed through a review of the book “The Lottery and the Draft: When Do I Stand?” by David Kendall and Leonard Ross. The University grade policy was reviewed, and Phase III of the University’s urban renewal plan, was to remain unchanged. en_US
