dc.description.abstract Dr. Lewis B. Ringer was chosen to replace Ralph L. Johnson as YSU swim coach. The Board of Trustees announced a hike in student fees. An editorial criticized the recent Student Council elections. A public television partnership between YSU, Kent State University, and the University of Akron was announced. Ecologist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Dr. Rene Dubos was slated to be the next Skeggs Lecturer. A minority training program in broadcasting was set to begin, a sociology professor analyzed ancient textiles, and the YSU football team suffered it seventh straight loss. en_US
