dc.description.abstract | Dr. Charles McBriarty was named the new dean of student affairs. Faculty evaluations were set for a “tryout” in the fall. The service employees union announced a rally on campus to support pay increases. An initial grant of $399,499 was jointly awarded to YSU and the Youngstown Public Schools for the establishment of a teacher corps training program, while a task force examined an educational development program.
