dc.description.abstract | The future of the construction of the joint medical school in northeastern Ohio was cast into doubt by a task force created by Ohio Governor John Gilligan. A new degree program (without a foreign language requirement) was set up in the Technical & Community College. A committee was set up to examine the constitution of the University Senate. A new finance chairman was appointed by Student Council. Seals & Crofts were scheduled to perform in concert at Beeghly Center. Al Bright (Art) was appointed to a state arts council by the Governor.
