dc.description.abstract Preparations were made for the commemoration of Black History Week. Alex Haley, the author of The Autobiography of Malcolm X, was to be a featured speaker. YSU’s Architectural Design Class developed plans for the design of a vacant area of the Butler Institute of American Art. OEA returned to court, demanding salary information from the Administration. Opposition was voiced against the purchase of a replacement live penguin mascot. A YSU senior announced his candidacy for the Ohio House of Representatives, while a part-time instructor sought a U.S. Congressional seat. en_US
