dc.description.abstract The English Department starts a collaboration with local high schools called Project Arete. Cooperative Campus Ministries and Black Studies sponsor a memorial service for Martin Luther King, Jr. YSU will host Governor Celeste as part of the "Capitals for a Day" program. The Youngstown Area Board of Realtors sponsors several classes on campus. Jan Wright interviews the Health Services staff. YSU is the only state university to offer an associates degree in paramedics. Student Government sponsors a concert featuring the Bangorillas and the Adults. Mark Peyko reviews "A Streetcar Named Desire" performed by the University Theatre. The men's basketball team narrowly defeats Murray State, but the women lose their third game in a row. en_US
