dc.description.abstract Mary B. Smith was appointed to direct the new campus Career Planning and Placement Service. A state-sponsored study on handicapped services received a slight setback with the resignation of Darrell Rishell from YSU, who had agreed to act as liaison between the state subcommittee and the University. The new campus self-service bookstore prepared to open. YSU received funds to help establish a veterans’ affairs office. A “fresh air camp” for underprivileged children was sponsored by Dr. John White (Anthropology) and his wife, Joanne. The renovation of Kilcawley Center is highligh en_US
