dc.description.abstract | Contract negotiations began between the faculty union and the Administration. “Justice for Cyprus Week” included a speaker from Cyprus and other Hellenic-oriented activities. Communications Workers of America local leader Don Hanni urged a boycott of YSU for one day as part of CWA’s fight to be recognized as the support staff union on campus. Noted journalist David Halberstam was slated to speak at YSU. Campus parking regulations were explained, as was the student grievance procedure.
