dc.description.abstract Robert Aley, freshman, independent, and Wilma Starr, sophomore, Gamma Sigma, led the scholastic honor roll during the first semester with perfect ratings. The Editors names the 1933 annual "The Hour Glass" a change from the dissatisfaction with its former name the "Wye-Collegian." The May Queen primaries will probably be voted Friday and closely supervised by student council members to prevent any irregularities. Youngstown Debate team returned from the Hiram Debating Tournament in March with eighth place. April 27 has been set as the date for the second annual Junior Prom to be held at Stambaugh auditorium. Stories of the basketball squad which have come to light as a result of the Athletic Banquet are told in "Marks, Sans Pajamas, Stays Up All Night on Indiana Cage Jaunt." .Charles McCallister will receive an intramural medal at the next meeting of the intramural board for his ping-pong skills. A petition asking Director Howard Jones and the trustees to reopen the first year law class which was discontinued a year ago, is now being circulated for signers in the evening school.Eloise Hewitt is chairman and Freda Flint, adviser of the newly formed Youngstown College Riding Club headquarter at the Mill Creek Riding club. en_US
