dc.description.abstract The Jambar is to now be printed bi-weekly after receiving a notice from the National Advertising Service. At a recent meeting of the appropriation committee, it was decided to adopt tennis as a varsity sport, with a letter to go to the team members. The Intra-Fraternity Sorority Council is finally organized on campus. The first dramatic presentation of the season was also the first to be present by the reorganized "Mimes," college dramatic fraternity. The Thanksgiving Dance is to be held on Wednesday, November 27 and is sponsored by the Student Council. Editorial reflects school spirit with class assemblies. Letter to the Editor from C.W. Foard, the Director of Athletics, concerning the "favored child" with basketball. Article is given on the Armistice Day chapel.A Youngstown College Art Club has been organized called "The Obelisk." Ted Bender, the winner of the Jambar song contest, was awarded a silver key by Joe Hanna, editor-in-chief of the Jambar. en_US
