dc.description.abstract Introduction of new faculty members for fall semester. The Freshman Class nearly doubles with 175 students and enrollment reaches a new high well over 1300. Mrs. Semans will replace Miss North as Dean of Women. John Middleton was elected as president of the Student Council. Former editor of the Jambar, Joe D. Hanna Jr. lands a job for the New York Tribune. Due to the increase in the publication schedule the Jambar increased its staff from 30 to 50 people. Greetings to the class of 1941 from President Howard W. Jones. A Freshman Guide is included with gives a description/members of Campus Organizations, Social Fraternities, Social Sororities, Honorary Fraternities, Student Government, Publications, Athletics, Social Events, and definitions of miscellaneous terms used around campus. Alumni can now subscribe to the paper. There is also an update on recent YoCo graduates. en_US
