dc.description.abstract	A convocation was called in honor of the 50th anniversary of Youngstown University. Dr. Warren Guthrie, a news reporter from Cleveland, was the speaker at the convocation. A fall enrollment record was set at 6,000. YU was to host a second group of student from India, invited to the region to study American steelmaking processes. On the gridiron, Ohio University defeated the Penguins in a 39-0 shutout.	en_US
