The Ohio College Newspaper Association named The Jambar the second-place winner in the contest for “Best Bi-Weekly” publication. The Phi Gamma fraternity scheduled its 12th Annual Popularity Dance for May 3. Alpha Pi Epsilon announced “Clean Up Week” (April 28 – May 3) for the entire campus. A new snack bar was added to campus facilities. The Annual Formal and General Inspection of the YU ROTC was conducted on April 24 by representatives of the U.S. Second Army.
