dc.description.abstract Four yearly awards, totaling $500, will be awarded to Youngstown College students with the highest scholastic rating in the fields of English, the humanities, and social science sequence. Marian Pagliasotti is chosen to reign as Queen of the Snowflake Frolic December 28. Richard Gage, director of the Youngstown Playhouse, will offer the first of a series of drama courses here next semester. Poetry by YoCo students, Jane O'Brien and Louise Denkelberg, will be featured in the 1946 publication of "Annual Anthology of College Poetry." The college victory drive, which ended December 08, was a success with a figure that double the quota. An update is given on the new engineering school, who's new home is the old Rayen school. Editorial comments on a very Merry Christmas and rumors regarding the name change of Youngstown College to Youngstown University. en_US
