According to a March 15, 2007 press release from the U.S. Census Bureau, adults 18 and over with a master's, professional or doctoral degree earned an average of $79,946, while adults with a bachelor's degree earned an average of $54,689 in 2005. YSU professor, Ying Wang, saw devastation from a massive earthquake while in China for a conference. Business Incubator provides job opportunities for YSU graduates.
