dc.description.abstract	Athletic officials said they do not believe University President David Sweet's recent decision to prohibit alcohol from tailgate lots will affect attendance at the week's home football game. A YSU student who was recently detained by police while running near campus is alleging mistreatment. Marketing and Communications claim their new recruitment strategy aimed at Cleveland the its surrounding areas is a success with an increase in students from that area. Board of Trustee members said they were surprised but also pleased with the students' vocalization of their concerns about university issues during the SGA silent protest. Talk show host Jerry Springer will be speaking to YSU students on getting them more involved in the political process and voting. YSU junior basketball player, Kathy Hanek, battles back from arthritic condition.	en_US
