dc.description.abstract	College receives a flag which was flown over the United States capitol on April 09, 1945. A new, but as yet unofficial, Alma Mater, was played by the college band during half-time at the homecoming game. The Limelight features Student Council president, Lawrence "Larry" Blazina. Veterans News is given. Jambar writes on the "Big three," Dike Beede, Dom Rosselli, and Ralph Wolf. Girls basketball season opens. Sportlite features Red Angelo, center, Dick Organ, right end, and Conzi Lucci, full-back. History of the college nickname, the Penguins, is given.	en_US
