dc.description.abstract Women's Center is getting Sr. Pat Slater, director of the Newman Center, as interim-director. National Science Foundation awarded an $88,400 grant to YSU's School of Technology to purchase state-of-the-art computer based data acquisition equipment. Faculty member, Maureen McClelland was hit by a YSU truck attempting to turn onto Fifth Avenue from Arlington. A new women's group was formed by the sociology and psychology departments. Article on Dr. Charles Richard Drew and the American Red Cross Blood Bank. YSU colony of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity has been alive on campus for four years and hopes to become a national chapter by fall. YSU basketball senior Shannon Beach reached the 1000 point mark. en_US
