dc.description.abstract Members to the honorary scholastic fraternity, Delta Epsilon, are announced. Petey Penguin has drowned at Crandall Park. Youngstown College has been accepted by the Association of American Colleges. The war between the radio broadcasters and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers has prohibited YoCo from requesting Fred Waring to write a new fight song for the school. The Student Council has taken action to curtail jitterbugging at the college dances in order to make it safe and possible for more conservative dancers to be on the floor. Editorial comments on a Plea for the Burial of Pete the Penguin instead of going to a taxidermist, the library drive, and more cooperation with social committees. Interfraternity ball was January 11 with Suzanne Edwards as Queen. en_US
