dc.description.abstract | Mr. & Mrs. Martin J. O'Connell voluntarily dropped the lawsuit they had filed in 1994 in the Court of Claims of Ohio. O'Connell was struck by a YSU vehicle while crossing Fifth Avenue after a football game. After the suit was dismissed, the O'Connell's reached a private settlement with the university's insurance company.
