Abstract:
A landscaping worker, William Shaffer, was injured on April 18, 1974, when he and another worker, James McCollum, were spreading the insecticide Dasanit on campus grounds. Ohio State University entomologist Dr. A.C. Waldron, said that the pesticide should not have been used in a populated area of campus. Landscaping supervisor at YSU, Henry Garano, had no comment.
